Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a resourceful and detail-oriented Data Scientist, the full-time remote position will focus on applying machine learning to data quality issues, measuring model performance in production, and developing prototypes and dashboards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Apply machine learning techniques to address data problems such as detection, classification, and anomaly detection
• Measure model performance on real production data and identify systematic errors in data quality
• Develop prototypes from open-ended questions and build dashboards to assist analysts in their work

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in applied data science
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in large production datasets and AWS
• Experience in measuring model performance and building ground-truth datasets
• Ability to create and maintain dashboards, particularly in Streamlit
• Strong statistical judgment and experience in applying machine learning to data quality issues
