Job Summary
To support emissions analytics, the full-time Data Scientist will develop and implement models for detecting, attributing, localizing, and quantifying trace gases and emissions, collaborating closely with various teams in a preferred onsite or remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement models and algorithms for trace gas detection and emissions quantification
- Analyze time-series and geospatial data to create analytical workflows integrating sensor data with atmospheric context
- Design and run experimental programs to validate algorithms and enhance understanding of plume propagation
Required qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's in Physics, Applied Math, Atmospheric Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant research or industry experience
- Strong foundation in statistical modeling, including Bayesian methods
- Proficiency in Python for numerical analysis and SQL
- Hands-on experience with time-series and geospatial data
