Data Scientist
Job Summary
To support data-driven decision-making, the contracted Data Scientist will provide analytical support, assist in data modeling, and integrate various data sources while working remotely for a 40-hour/week commitment over 6 months.
Key responsibilities
- Provide analytical support using data mining tools and methodologies
- Assist in data modeling and analysis to derive customer insights and drive business strategies
- Develop, maintain, and enhance statistical models in Python
Required qualifications
- PhD in Operations Research, Econometrics, or related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience
- Expertise in math programming, probability, statistics, forecasting, machine learning, or artificial intelligence
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, MATLAB, or SQL
- Experience in elasticity estimation and pricing is a plus
