Job Summary
To support a growing data team, the full-time Data Scientist will analyze and validate credit and risk models, build predictive models for loan performance, and work with large datasets in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and validate internal credit, risk, valuation, and recovery models against historical loan outcomes
- Build predictive and forecasting models to estimate future loan performance and collateral value changes
- Extract, clean, and validate data from large, multi-source lending and real estate datasets for analysis and modeling
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 3 to 7 years of experience in data science, applied modeling, or quantitative analytics with large datasets
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and quantitative techniques
- Stable, reliable internet connection and a professional remote working setup
