Data Scientist

Job Summary

To enhance the capabilities of digital agents, the full-time Data Scientist will develop and apply advanced machine learning and generative AI techniques while working primarily remotely with occasional visits to the Bristol office or London.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve machine learning and generative AI solutions for the Digital Agent Platform
• Design and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions to enhance agent performance and knowledge retrieval
• Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks and conduct experiments to measure and improve digital agent quality

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; Master's degree preferred
• 4+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with SQL and large-scale data processing technologies
• Hands-on experience with generative AI, large language models, and modern machine learning frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to independently frame ambiguous problems and deliver actionable solutions
