Job Summary
A company is looking for a Data Scientist.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop NLP applications for medical entity extraction and text mining
- Design a database to store NLP entities and relationships
- Train and evaluate models, perform statistical analysis of results, and refine models
Qualifications:
- Clinical NLP experience (cTakes, UIMA) and strong Java development experience
- Deep understanding of the healthcare domain and familiarity with Ontology tools and technologies
- Proven experience as an NLP Engineer or similar role, with knowledge of NLP techniques and data structures
- Ability to write robust and testable code, and experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries
