Job Summary

Partnering with product squads, the full-time salaried Data Scientist, Analytics will design and analyze experiments, transform raw data into impactful insights, and elevate the analytics team's skill level while focusing on enhancing Etsy's Ads experience for sellers.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams across the Ads Initiative to develop a scalable Ads product for Etsy sellers
• Design and analyze rigorous experiments, setting hypotheses and delivering comprehensive analysis of results
• Enhance the analytics team's capabilities through mentorship and the introduction of improved practices and tools

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in analytics, particularly in product or marketing contexts
• Strong background in experimental design and statistical analysis
• Experience with machine learning models and data governance practices
• Ability to document and communicate complex analyses clearly
