Data Scientist / Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

To design and operationalize advanced analytics solutions, the full-time salaried Data Scientist / Analytics Engineer will deliver predictive and point-in-time analytics for transportation and logistics operations, utilizing AWS and collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, validate, and deploy predictive models while ensuring model monitoring and explainability practices
• Produce point-in-time analytics and KPI scorecards to support operational decisions across various teams
• Build and maintain data pipelines on AWS, implementing medallion architecture and ensuring data quality and lineage

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or Computer Science; Master's degree preferred
• Professional experience in transportation, trucking, or logistics with knowledge of operational data
• Proven track record of developing customer-facing analytics products from ideation to implementation
• Hands-on experience with AWS analytics tools and proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience in building production data pipelines and a solid grounding in statistical methods
