Job Summary
To drive measurable outcomes across transportation and logistics operations, the full-time Data Scientist / Analytics Engineer will design, build, and operationalize advanced analytics solutions, delivering both predictive and point-in-time analytics for internal stakeholders and customers while leveraging AWS technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, train, validate, and deploy predictive models, ensuring rigorous performance evaluation aligned with business objectives
- Produce point-in-time analytics and KPI scorecards to support operational decisions across various teams
- Build and maintain data pipelines on AWS, implementing medallion architecture patterns to refine operational data into analytics-ready datasets
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or Computer Science; Master's degree preferred
- Demonstrated experience in the transportation, trucking, freight, or logistics industry with knowledge of operational data
- Proven track record of implementing customer-facing analytics products from idea to launch
- Hands-on experience with AWS analytics tools, including Amazon Redshift and related services
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytics-grade programming language, preferably Python
