Data Scientist (California Licensed)

Job Summary

Seeking a mission-driven Data Scientist (California Licensed) to join the fully remote team, focusing on enhancing analytics and predictive modeling for CAHPS and HOS elements of Stars strategy within the Medicare Advantage line of business.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to devise analytical solutions for complex problems
• Develop and fine-tune predictive models to understand member behaviors and enhance clinical outcomes
• Build scalable automated pipelines for model outputs and ensure alignment with CMS guidance through cross-department collaboration

Required qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in predictive modeling and analysis, specifically with CAHPS and HOS modeling
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, R, Scala, or C++, and proficiency in SQL
• Experience in building end-to-end data science solutions and applying machine learning methods to real-world problems
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, including deep neural networks and natural language processing
