Data Scientist - Causal Inference

Job Summary

Motivated and talented Data Scientists specializing in Causal Inference will find a remote opportunity focused on designing experiments, building causal ML models, and conducting analyses to optimize Community Support initiatives and enhance guest and host experiences.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement causal inference frameworks and statistical models to measure intervention impacts and evaluate system performance
• Build, evaluate, and iterate on causal ML models to support high-stakes decision-making
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Product, Design, Engineering, Operations, and Analytics to drive innovation and strategic insights

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of industry experience in a quantitative analysis role with a Master's degree in a quantitative field or a PhD in relevant fields
• Strong knowledge of causal inference and experimental design
• Experience in Bayesian modeling and statistical inference
• Hands-on experience building and deploying statistical or ML models in production environments
• Proficiency in statistical programming (Python/R) and database usage (SQL)
