Data Scientist Consultant

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end forecasting models, the fully remote Data Scientist Consultant will build and iterate production-grade demand forecasts, validate outputs, and transform data into actionable insights for healthcare operations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and evaluate production-grade demand and volume forecasts while maintaining model stability
• Define input data contracts for optimization models and validate solver outputs to ensure feasibility
• Communicate technical outputs to non-technical users and participate in client conversations to explain model behavior

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science or applied analytics
• Proven experience owning forecasting models in production environments
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience handling large datasets
• Ability to work with messy data and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience in healthcare or complex operational environments is preferred
