A company is looking for a Product Data Scientist - Consumer Behavior & Algorithms.

Key Responsibilities

• Impact the functionality and user experience of a new Shopify app
• Analyze merchant behavior to inform product and design decisions
• Build predictive models and design experiments to validate hypotheses

Required Qualifications

• Strong foundation in data science, statistics, or a related quantitative field
• Background in social sciences or statistics with experience in human or behavioral data
• Experience building algorithms, recommendation systems, or predictive models
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis
• Experience producing decision-making tools like research memos or experiment reports
