Data Scientist (Contract)

Job Summary

Working remotely on a part-time contract basis, the Data Scientist (Contract) will gather and analyze data related to AI models and infrastructure, reviewing technical literature and compiling insights to support AI research efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully parse assigned machine learning papers or benchmark leaderboards to identify key information
• Accurately extract and compile technical details from various sources
• Produce informed estimates of metrics about the physical infrastructure supporting AI based on limited information

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines reliably
• Attention to detail
• Ability to systematically extract key information from a variety of sources
• Understanding or interest in a broad array of technical AI topics, especially model evaluations and data centers
