Data Scientist for Product Analytics

Job Summary

To support product and operations teams, the full-time Data Scientist for Product Analytics will provide data-driven insights to enhance the customer post-order delivery experience and improve buyer lifetime value while collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operations leaders and product managers to identify opportunities for improving order issue resolution and buyer purchase frequency through advanced analytics
• Utilize Google BigQuery to conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting, addressing prioritized business questions to support strategic decision-making
• Design and build interactive dashboards in Looker to track key performance indicators and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Experience with causal inference and analytical machine learning modeling techniques, such as regression and clustering
• Proficiency in Looker and other data visualization tools
• Experience developing data rollups in SQL, preferably on cloud data warehouses like BigQuery
• Familiarity with order incident and customer resolution data
• Experience in a two-sided marketplace environment is a plus
