Data Scientist - Forecasting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Scientist - Forecasting Models.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and deploy time series forecasting models for food-based inventory
• Clean, prepare, and transform large volumes of raw data for feature engineering
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to integrate customer feedback into model iterations

Required Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a STEM field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning with a focus on time series forecasting
• Deep knowledge of probability, statistics, and ML algorithms related to demand prediction
• Proficient in Python and core ML libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy
• Experience in building models, feature engineering, and working with large-scale datasets
