Data Scientist II

Job Summary

To drive the success of data science and analytics efforts, the full-time remote Data Scientist II will develop and productionize machine learning models, collaborate with stakeholders to scope analytics projects, and communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models for healthcare products, focusing on areas such as controlled substance handling and inventory management
• Define and track KPIs to measure model performance and business impact while collaborating with product teams and customers
• Raise the skill level of the analytics team through strong research communication and collaboration in code reviews and model evaluation discussions

Required qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in data science, statistics, computer science, or a similar quantitative field
• Proficiency in developing and productionizing code in Python for API endpoints
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including SageMaker and RDS
• Understanding of statistical models and ability to create supervised and unsupervised machine learning models
• Strong knowledge of Git workflows and version control best practices
