Data Scientist II

Job Summary

Empowering product teams, the full-time remote Data Scientist II will conduct quantitative research, design experiments, and partner with cross-functional teams to inform product strategy and enhance user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Propose and conduct quantitative research into user behaviors and business trends, identifying new opportunities for product development
• Design and analyze experiments for causal inference in collaboration with engineers and applied scientists
• Define and monitor key metrics, investigating changes and recommending next steps based on findings

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or economics
• Experience managing stakeholders with competing priorities in Product Management, Design, Engineering, and Marketing
• Expertise in SQL and experience scoping, analyzing, and communicating results of experiments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across functions and with leadership
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in a technical area such as Statistics, Engineering, Analytics, Math, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics
