Job Summary
Collaborating with the Business Unit Lead, the full-time remote Data Scientist II will identify decisioning performance gaps, develop machine learning models to detect fraud, and automate repetitive tasks while engaging in end-to-end project responsibilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with the Business Unit Lead to identify and implement solutions for decisioning performance gaps
- Develop and utilize machine learning models to identify fraud in collaboration with team members
- Automate repetitive tasks and run experiments to optimize decisioning strategies
Required qualifications:
- A degree in computer science or a comparable analytical field
- 3+ years of post-undergrad work experience
- Strong machine learning and statistical background
- Proficiency in Python and practical SQL knowledge
- Experience with distributed analytics and data tooling such as Spark and Databricks
