Job Summary
Designing and validating predictive and machine learning models, the full-time remote Data Scientist II will analyze large datasets, create analytical plans, and collaborate with teams to enhance business processes across various domains.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain analytical plans for projects while mining and analyzing structured and unstructured datasets
- Develop algorithms for risk prediction and data insights, and create visualizations to demonstrate their effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and communicate results to key stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in data analysis and/or analytic programming
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or R
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data stack tools (e.g., Databricks, Snowflakes) is preferred
- Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms, as well as basic statistical analysis techniques
