Data Scientist, Infrastructure

Job Summary

To support the Core Infrastructure team, the full-time remote Data Scientist, Infrastructure will analyze infrastructure usage and workloads, develop models for resource consumption, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed infrastructure decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze infrastructure usage and predict demand to inform capacity planning
• Develop models and strategies for efficient compute resource consumption and provisioning
• Provide actionable insights to improve infrastructure operations and reduce costs

Required qualifications

• PhD with 3+ years, MS/MA with 6+ years, or BS/BA with 8+ years of data science or quantitative modeling experience
• 3-8+ years of experience focusing on infrastructure, cloud environments, and resource utilization
• Proficiency in SQL and a programming language such as Python or R
• Experience in analyzing logs/telemetry or cloud infrastructure engineering
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver impactful results
