Data Scientist Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Scientist Lead to manage and develop systems of models for analyzing big data sources.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and participate in the analysis of large data sets and the development of statistical and machine learning models
• Lead the sourcing, cleaning, and productionizing of data sets while ensuring data stability and accuracy
• Guide and mentor less experienced data scientists in model development and lead stakeholder discussions on model outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years related experience, or 11 years of combined education and work experience
• Intermediate experience with statistical methods and data science principles
• Intermediate proficiency in statistical software and programming languages, particularly Python
• Expert understanding of various modeling techniques and experience analyzing large data sets
• Experience with hybrid databases both on-premise and in the cloud
