Data Scientist Lead

Job Summary

Leading a team of data scientists, the full-time remote Data Scientist Lead will manage the development and implementation of complex models and analytics to drive business insights and compliance risk assessments.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and participate in the analysis of large data sets, building econometric and machine learning models to solve unstructured problems
• Oversee the data sourcing, cleaning, and preparation processes, ensuring stability and addressing data drift
• Guide and mentor less experienced data scientists, promoting best practices in model development and delivering training materials

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years related experience, or 11 years of combined higher education and work experience
• At least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
• Intermediate proficiency in statistical software and languages, including SQL and nSQL
• Expert understanding of various modeling techniques, including Bayesian modeling and neural networks
• Experience analyzing large data sets and applying data science principles
