Data Scientist - Long Term Impact

Job Summary

Focusing on long-term impact estimation, the remote Staff Data Scientist - Long Term Impact will develop frameworks to assess the causal effects of product changes over time, leveraging advanced causal inference methods and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop causal estimates for long-term impact of short-term metric movements
• Build frameworks for estimating how the impact of product changes evolves over time
• Create tools to evaluate the heterogeneous impact of product changes

Required qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Operations Research, Economics, Mathematics, Physics)
• 6+ years of experience with a Ph.D. or 8+ years with a Master's in experimentation/causal inference domains
• Strong programming skills in R, Python, Scala, Java, C++, or equivalent
• Proven ability to design analytical solutions for complex real-world problems
• Familiarity with recent developments in causal inference
