Data Scientist - Predictive Modeling

Job Summary

To support data-driven decision-making, the full-time remote Data Scientist - Predictive Modeling will build predictive models, perform exploratory data analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement predictive models for demand forecasting and maintenance needs using statistical and machine learning techniques
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and correlations that inform model development
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through collaboration on data preparation and transformation processes

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Scientist role with expertise in building statistical or machine learning models
• Strong background in statistics and predictive analytics, including time-series forecasting and regression analysis
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and Python libraries such as scikit-learn and pandas for modeling
• Experience in data storytelling and presenting findings to diverse audiences
• Familiarity with sensor/telemetry/IoT data is a plus
