Data Scientist - Pricing

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Data Scientist - Pricing, this role will focus on applying statistical methodologies to analyze pricing strategies and optimize business performance, with the flexibility to work remotely or from the office in Lititz, PA or Tampa, FL.

Key responsibilities

• Advising on analysis and modeling techniques to develop custom analytics models that drive customer value
• Collaborating with analytics engineers to gather data and implement advanced statistical methodologies
• Conducting exploratory analysis and partnering with stakeholders to translate business problems into data science solutions

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data science focused on pricing and demand in ecommerce or retail
• Proven ability to build and analyze price response curves and inform pricing strategies
• Strong understanding of price elasticity, demand forecasting, and margin trade-offs
• Advanced skills in Python and SQL
• Ability to work with large SKU catalogs and messy data to derive actionable insights
