Data Scientist - Pricing

Job Summary

To support the pricing strategy, the full-time Data Scientist - Pricing will advise on analysis and modeling techniques, collaborate with analytics engineers, and conduct exploratory analysis, with the option to work remotely from select US states or from the office in Lititz, PA.

Key responsibilities

• Advising on analysis and modeling techniques to develop custom analytics models for actionable insights
• Collaborating with analytics engineers to gather information and implement advanced statistical methodologies
• Conducting exploratory analysis, including hypothesis testing and statistical inference, to optimize business performance

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience applying data science to pricing and demand problems in ecommerce or retail
• Proven ability to build and analyze price response curves and inform pricing strategy
• Strong understanding of price elasticity, demand forecasting, and trade-offs between margin and volume
• Advanced skills in Python and SQL
• Demonstrable portfolio of machine learning projects
