Data Scientist - Pricing

Job Summary

To support a growing data science team, the full-time Data Scientist - Pricing will advise on analysis techniques, collaborate on data gathering, and conduct exploratory analysis to drive pricing strategies, with the option to work remotely or from the Lititz, PA office.

Key responsibilities

• Advising on analysis and modeling techniques to develop custom analytics models for pricing and demand insights
• Collaborating with analytics engineers to implement advanced statistical methodologies and optimize business performance
• Conducting exploratory analysis, including hypothesis testing and statistical inference, to translate retail business problems into data science solutions

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data science focused on pricing and demand in ecommerce, retail, or foodservice
• Proven ability to build and analyze price response curves and inform pricing strategies
• Strong understanding of price elasticity, demand forecasting, and margin-volume trade-offs
• Advanced skills in Python and SQL
• Experience working with large SKU catalogs and messy data to derive actionable insights
