Data Scientist, Product Analytics

Job Summary

To support product and operations teams, the full-time Data Scientist, Product Analytics will provide data-driven insights to enhance the customer post-order delivery experience and improve buyer lifetime value, collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilizing advanced analytics techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operations leaders and product managers to identify opportunities for improving order issue resolution and driving buyer purchase frequency through advanced analytics
• Utilize Google BigQuery for ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Design and build interactive dashboards in Looker to track KPIs and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Experience with causal inference and analytical machine learning modeling techniques such as regression and clustering
• Proficiency in Looker and other data visualization tools
• Experience developing data rollups in SQL, preferably on cloud data warehouses like BigQuery
• Familiarity with order incident and customer resolution data
• Experience working in a two-sided marketplace environment is a plus
