Data Scientist - Production Engineering

Job Summary

To enhance operational efficiency, the remote full-time Data Scientist - Production Engineering will optimize and scale data science models and systems already in production, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams while working with large datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize existing data science models and systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Translate research-grade or prototype data science code into production-ready implementations
• Contribute to and maintain production data pipelines and workflows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 3+ years of experience with production data
• Demonstrated experience contributing to production data science or analytics systems
• Strong programming skills in Python with experience writing maintainable, production-quality code
• Prior experience with data pipelines and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Dagster, Airflow)
• Cloud platform expertise, particularly with AWS services for scalable data processing and model deployments
