Data Scientist, Quality and Research

Job Summary

To support enterprise-wide quality improvement and clinical research initiatives, the fully remote Data Scientist, Quality and Research will manage analyses, collaborate with stakeholders, and translate data into actionable insights within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cardiovascular quality initiatives and analyze provider-level performance data, developing dashboards and performance reports
• Assist with clinical research projects, including data extraction, statistical analyses, and adherence to regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with clinical leaders to present findings and participate in quality and research meetings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in clinical or outcomes research with a focus on quality improvement analytics
• Proficient in SQL, SAS, Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI for data analysis and dashboard creation
• Deep experience working with clinical datasets, including EHR and registry data
• Familiarity with healthcare quality programs and clinical research workflows
