Data Scientist - Sensory Modeling

Job Summary

To advance sensory intelligence capabilities, the full-time Data Scientist - Sensory Modeling will develop advanced statistical and machine learning models to analyze consumer sensory preferences, working remotely within the US.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models for analyzing consumer sensory data
• Translate complex sensory panel data into actionable insights for product innovation and development
• Collaborate with research teams to design and validate consumer sensory studies and frameworks

Required qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong foundation in probability theory and Bayesian inference
• Experience with hierarchical/mixed-effects models and latent variable modeling
• Proficiency in Python and/or R, along with machine learning techniques
• Hands-on experience working with consumer or sensory data, ideally within FMCG industries
