Data Scientist - Sensory Modeling

Job Summary

Driving advancements in sensory intelligence, the full-time Data Scientist - Sensory Modeling will develop statistical and machine learning models to analyze consumer sensory preferences, translating complex data into actionable insights for product innovation in a remote role based in the US.

Key responsibilities

• Develop advanced statistical and machine learning models to analyze consumer sensory preferences across various products and demographics
• Design and implement models for harmonizing sensory and consumer datasets across different studies and methodologies
• Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders, translating analytical outputs into actionable recommendations for R&D and product development

Required qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong foundation in probability theory and Bayesian inference
• Experience with hierarchical/mixed-effects models and latent variable modeling
• Hands-on experience with variational inference and/or MCMC methods
• Proficiency in Python and/or R, along with strong data engineering and SQL capabilities
