Data Scientist Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Scientist / Software Engineer to bridge applied data science and production software engineering in a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production-grade data and ML systems for cybersecurity telemetry
• Apply analytical and machine learning techniques to analyze large cybersecurity data sets and develop deployable software
• Collaborate with various engineering teams to integrate algorithms and analytics into products and maintain backend services

Required Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience as a data scientist, ML engineer, or applied research engineer, preferably in cybersecurity
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with at least one additional production language
• Experience with ML frameworks, big data technologies, and data visualization tools
• At least 3 years of experience writing production software and designing REST or gRPC APIs
