Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of business operations, the full-time remote Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI will design, develop, and deploy innovative AI applications while managing the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML projects and collaborating with stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement agentic Generative AI applications, ensuring alignment with operational needs and business challenges
• Drive the lifecycle of AI/ML projects from ideation to production, utilizing prompt engineering and systematic experimentation to optimize performance
• Develop and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, focusing on resource management and compliance while promoting MLOps best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related analytical field, with at least 5 years of experience in full-stack application deployment in enterprise environments
• Proven experience in designing and shipping production Generative AI applications with expertise in prompt engineering and orchestration frameworks
• Strong full-stack development skills, including proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and CI/CD pipelines
• Extensive experience with AWS services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, and Lambda, along with knowledge of software engineering design patterns
• Experience in data science and machine learning techniques, with a focus on fairness in AI development and empirical evaluation methodologies
