Data Scientist - Supply Chain Analytics

Job Summary

To support an enterprise manufacturing client, the full-time remote Data Scientist - Supply Chain Analytics will build demand forecasting models, perform demand variability analysis, and develop inventory analytics while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Build demand forecasting models using time-series methods and CV-based segmentation
• Perform demand variability analysis and provide actionable insights for planning teams
• Develop inventory pre-positioning analytics and monitor health/trend signals for supply chain planners

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Scientist or analytical role within supply chain or manufacturing contexts
• Strong foundation in applied statistics, time-series forecasting, and demand variability analysis
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, and SQL for analytical model development
• Proficiency in Python for modeling and SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Ability to communicate complex statistical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
