Data Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security plans and protections for technology systems
• Monitor systems for security breaches and investigate anomalies
• Design scalable data protection solutions and integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years focused on data security
• Hands-on experience with DLP platforms, encryption, and data tokenization tools
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and secure cloud data storage
