Data Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Security Remediation Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on configuration of BigID scanners and Microsoft Purview policies, tuning classification logic and DLP rules
• Execute technical workflows to apply sensitivity labels, enforce actions, and relocate high-risk files
• Diagnose and resolve integration issues, working with vendor support to address product bugs

Required Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field with 2-3 years of experience in data security or related areas
• Possess a relevant certification such as Security + CE, CEH, or CISSP
• Hands-on experience with BigID and Microsoft Purview, including configuration and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks
