Data Security Engineer
Job Summary
Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise data security technologies, the full-time Data Security Engineer will independently resolve technical issues, implement new capabilities, and drive operational improvements in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer advanced functions in all Data Security systems
- Perform system upgrades while adhering to Change Management procedures
- Drive operational improvements and implement new functionality in data security systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent experience
- 2 - 4 years of related experience in data security technologies
- Advanced understanding of data security systems and networking concepts
- Knowledge of common Security Control Frameworks (CIS CSC, NIST CSF, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001)
- Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Cloud Foundations
