Data Security Manager

Job Summary

Leading the enterprise Data Protection Program, the full-time remote Data Security Manager will manage governance, operating processes, and service oversight while partnering with various teams to implement risk-based data protection controls.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Data Protection exception management processes and coordinate risk reviews and remediation actions
• Define and report on program performance metrics, exception trends, and risk themes to executive leadership
• Develop and implement data security strategies to protect critical information assets and support enterprise data governance initiatives

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT Security management or related roles
• At least 2 years of experience in data security aspects such as governance and deployment of security measures
• Advanced knowledge of information security processes and principles
• Experience in assessing security threats and developing partnerships with IT and business stakeholders
