Data Solutions Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and maintaining data models to support business intelligence and analytics, the full-time remote Data Solutions Engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into effective solutions while ensuring data governance and integration with IT and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data models and reports to meet business intelligence and operational needs
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and enforce data standards and governance policies
- Identify and resolve data quality issues while maintaining documentation for data models and tracking progress on data products
Required qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in data warehouse data modeling, database design, or data architecture
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Experience with data warehouse solutions such as Fabric, Synapse, or Snowflake
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI or Fabric semantic models
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
