Data Solutions Engineering Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Vice President, Data Solutions Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver well-architected data solutions in collaboration with various teams
• Partner with business teams to design data solutions and mentor early career data engineers
• Lead the build-out and deployment of reliable and scalable data pipelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, or Engineering
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, APIs, Cloud, and data operations
• Domain knowledge of Actuarial, Investment, and Finance within the Insurance/Reinsurance industry is a plus
• Minimum of seven years in a data engineering role, with at least five years in programming (Python) and SQL
• Robust knowledge of data lakes, data governance, and modern data quality techniques
