Data Specialist
Job Summary
To support data management initiatives, the remote Data Specialist will ensure high-quality data ingestion, transformation, and configuration within the MineralSoft platform, utilizing AI-driven tools and structured data formats.
Key responsibilities
- Extract and structure data from client-provided PDFs using AI tools, converting unstructured content into clean, structured data files
- Transform structured data files into MineralSoft-compatible formats, ensuring accuracy and completeness across datasets
- Load and configure datasets in MineralSoft, performing data validations and quality checks for successful ingestion
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of experience in data management, data analysis, or a similar technical role
- Proficiency with structured data formats (e.g., Excel, CSV, JSON) and experience using AI-based document extraction tools
- Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, and validation processes
- Familiarity with MineralSoft and EnergyLink platforms (preferred)
