Data Steward (Ohio Licensed)

Job Summary

Supporting data governance initiatives, the full-time Data Steward (Ohio Licensed) will conduct data quality assessments, manage metadata, and assist in data classification while working on a hybrid schedule from the World Headquarters in Marysville, OH.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough data quality assessments to identify discrepancies and collaborate with teams to implement improvements
• Manage and enhance metadata repositories, ensuring accurate documentation of data lineage and definitions
• Assist in data classification and sensitivity assessments, contributing to the development of data governance frameworks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2 - 4 years of experience in data governance or a related analytical role
• Programming experience in languages such as Python or SQL
• Experience with SAP products, particularly SAP S/4HANA, is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with data governance tools like Collibra, Informatica, or Alation
