Data Strategy Lead

Job Summary

To support a transformative digital strategy, the contract Data Strategy Lead will develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy, oversee data-related initiatives, and design effective operating models, all while working 100% remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and articulate the organization's data vision and strategy in alignment with business objectives
• Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of data projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints
• Design and implement a robust data operating model that encompasses data governance, architecture, and management practices

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data strategy, or digital transformation roles
• Proven track record leading major data or digital transformation initiatives end-to-end
• Strong understanding of data engineering fundamentals and experience designing data operating models
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Snowflake
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning, with the ability to guide implementation and embed capabilities into business processes
