Data Tech Lead
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time contract basis, the Data Tech Lead will oversee the development and support of an AI-ready Enterprise Data Platform in BigQuery, balancing hands-on coding with technical leadership while collaborating with engineering teams on data modeling and solution design.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and support enterprise-scale data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Ingest data from various source systems into BigQuery using medallion architecture
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to development team members while remaining hands-on in development
Required qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery
- Proficiency in Dataflow, Dataform, Terraform, and SQL
- Demonstrated expertise in data modeling and building enterprise-scale data pipelines
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipeline automation and governed data delivery
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on solution design and delivery execution
