Data Tech Lead
Job Summary
Serving as the Enterprise Data Platform Technical Lead, the full-time remote consultant will build and support an AI-ready data platform in BigQuery, focusing on developing scalable data pipelines and providing technical leadership to the development team.
Key responsibilities
- Build and support enterprise-scale data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Ingest data from on-premises and cloud-based source systems into BigQuery using medallion architecture
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to development team members while remaining hands-on in development
Required qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery
- Proficiency in Dataflow, Dataform, Terraform, and SQL
- Demonstrated expertise in data modeling and building enterprise-scale data pipelines
- Direct experience developing and supporting data ingestion from both on-premises and cloud sources
- Ability to support CI/CD pipeline automation and governed data delivery processes
