Data Visualization Designer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Data Visualization Designer, the successful candidate will develop and maintain reporting visualizations, conduct user experience research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data solutions for educational outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and maintain front-end report visualizations while ensuring quality assurance for accuracy
- Conduct user interviews and heuristic reviews to gather data on user needs and partner with product owners for user experience design
- Collaborate with internal technical teams and external resources on large projects, generating documentation to support self-service analytics
Required qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in front-end design of reporting visualizations and building Business Intelligence solutions
- Strong skills in User Experience Design, including leading heuristic reviews and user interviews
- Experience with Microsoft's Business Intelligence stack, particularly Power BI and SQL Server
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a solid understanding of data management practices
- Basic proficiency with T-SQL and knowledge of fact and dimensional table models
