A company is looking for a Database Administration Advisor to join their team in Salem, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex problems and provide expert level support for AIX database environments (Oracle and DB2)
• Manage system outages, support customer migrations, and develop formal training
• Architect and document database environments to meet customer needs and ensure compliance with state standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a technical role
• At least 5 years of experience in Database Administration and Performance Tuning for Oracle
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Center Operations with UNIX/IBM AIX technology
• Expertise in engineering designs and implementations of AIX environments
• Knowledge of project management principles
