Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Administrator to provide database architecture support for the Department of Homeland Security's biometric system.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure new software and hardware, including server networks and firewalls
• Monitor system performance and manage user accounts and security permissions
• Administer AWS Aurora PostgreSQL and Oracle database environments, including data migration and optimization tasks

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma and 6 years of relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government clearance
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator with Oracle and PostgreSQL
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL configuration, tuning, and optimization
